WALA Medicines & Labyrinth Children’s Museum in Berlin

From May 2009 to November 2010 WALA Medicines sponsors the exhibition Alle anders anders – vom Reichtum des Andersseins [All are Differently Different – Celebrating Diversity], which can be visited at the Labyrinth children’s museum in Berlin. The interactive exhibition for children is designed to help break down the barriers of prejudice: the children are encouraged to explore the richness of diversity and to interact positively with others and with people who are different in a spirit of respect and curiosity.

Why is WALA Medicines sponsoring this exhibition?

Anthroposophical Medicine is ‘different’ to conventional medicine. However, it does not represent an alternative to conventional medicine, but rather complements it and offers doctors and patients more choice. By cooperating with the exhibition Alle anders anders we want to encourage openness towards others and take the opportunity to explain the anthroposophical approach to treatment. Furthermore, through our involvement in this project we are emphasising that WALA Medicines are especially suitable for the treatment of children.

A peep at the exhibition …

An interactive game with index cards allows young visitors to the children’s museum to learn more about anthroposophic medicine and its remedies: “What are Globuli velati?” is one of the questions. Or: “How can a plant help you if you’ve hurt yourself?” At the same time, a signboard provides the ‘grownups’ with information on anthroposophic medicines in general and more specifically about WALA Medicines.
