Dr.Hauschka Skin Care & Mikenke
As part of the Berlin Fashion Week in January 2011, Dr.Hauschka Skin Care joined forces with Berlin eco fashion label Mikenke to debut a multi-functional leather hairband/bracelet made of organic salmon leather. Available in a limited edition of only 500, the fashion accessory cleverly combines natural cosmetics with sustainable fashion. The high-quality band designed by Berlin designers Rosa Gröszer and Tina Luther features an extraordinary design of geometric figures on a strong base form, crafted from vegetable-tanned, organic salmon leather. The result is a daring synthesis based on a sustainable raw material – timeless and emancipated. The accessory combines nature with geometry, restraint with exclusivity.
The hairband/bracelet has been available in selected department and concept stores since March 2011, including the Dr.Hauschka Counter at KaDeWe in Berlin, Breuninger Stuttgart, Karstadt in Mönckebergstrasse in Hamburg and Oberpollinger in Munich, retail price: EUR 69. Proceeds from sales go to the eurythmy project "What moves you?"
