Lemon Lemongrass Body Oil wins Grand Prix Edelweiss
Dr.Hauschka Lemon Lemongrass Body Oil was awarded the Grand Prix Edelweiss de la Cosmétique by the Swiss women’s and fashion magazine Edelweiss on 26 November 2009. As the most important fashion journal in French-speaking Switzerland, Edelweiss enjoys a unique position and is a must-read for every trendsetter. The body oil received top marks as “Meilleur soin du corps femme, categorie pharmacie” (best body care product for women in the pharmacy category), leaving other products – including some conventional ones – far behind.
Two groups are responsible for choosing the winners of the prize, which is presented once a year. Fifteen experts from the cosmetic industry, including perfumers and make-up artists, work in conjunction with journalists and readers of Edelweiss magazine to select the best product in each of the 19 categories. In addition to an application test, innovation, design, fragrance and packaging all factor into the choice. A detailed report on the results was published in the December 2009 issue of Edelweiss.
